Vaddio™ Creates AutoVIEW IR Presenter Camera Control

Stop by Booth #3643 at InfoComm 2005 for more information on the new AutoVIEW

May 25, 2005

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — At the upcoming InfoComm 2005 exposition in Las Vegas, Vaddio will introduce its newest accessory for Presenter Tracking Camera Control, AutoVIEW IR. Vaddio will be located in Booth #3643 where our complete line of PTZ Cameras and Camera Control Equipment will be on display.

AutoVIEW IR provides a new method to provide Presenter Tracking as a means of triggering the Vaddio camera control products, ControlVIEW Xtreme, ControlVIEW and ProductionVIEW. The system is composed of custom designed active infrared sensors that are installed in ceiling tiles above the presentation area. Each sensor is installed using CAT-5 to bring power and control back to the rack where it interfaces with the control system. The AutoVIEW IR sensors can be tuned to a definable size for that zone and as the instructor or presenter walks through each IR Zone, the sensor will pick up their presence and instantly have the appropriate camera focused on the predetermined shot.

"Vaddio is fast becoming the industry standard for automated camera control," says Rob Sheeley, President of Vaddio. "Many of our customers have requested that we design a system which provides reliable presenter presence sensing that allows them to move freely without the need for wearing a badge or transmitter device. AutoVIEW IR meets this requirement while maintaining the Vaddio strategy of making technology easy to use and even easier to install."
