Vaddio™ New OneLINK™ HDMI for RoboSHOT HDMI and Third-Party Videoconferencing Cameras and Codecs – Now Shipping

Extend Power, Video and Ethernet Control With New OneLINK HDMI Technology

September 22, 2015

Vaddio’s revolutionary OneLINK HDMI, utilizing HDBaseT™ technology is now shipping. The OneLINK HDMI extends power, video and control over a single Cat5e cable up to 100 meters, eliminating complex and expensive methods traditionally required during an installation.

Designed to fit a variety of applications, the OneLINK HDMI offers enhanced flexibility when specifying room solutions. Using HDBaseT connectivity, the OneLINK HDMI has the ability to transmit and receive uncompressed HDMI digital video up to, and including, 2160p/30 on one single Cat 5e/6 cable. Additionally, the OneLINK HDMI system sends and regulates power plus provides bi-directional control channels for Ethernet and RS-232.

Vaddio has created four distinct OneLINK HDMI solutions optimized for today’s market leading PTZ camera and Video Conferencing Codecs. This includes:

- OneLINK HDMI for RoboSHOT HDMI Cameras

- OneLINK HDMI for Cisco Precision 60 camera and SX Series Video Conferencing Solutions

- OneLINK HDMI for Sony SRG-Series and Panasonic HE-Series Cameras

- OneLINK HDMI for Polycom Group-Series Video Conferencing Solutions - Coming Soon

Vaddio’s OneLINK HDMI consists of two-pieces - the OneLINK EZIM™ (EZCamera Interface Module) camera interface at the camera location and the OneLINK HDMI Interface. The EZIM connects to the camera end of the system and includes power, HDMI, RS-232 control and Ethernet. Between the EZIM and the OneLINK HDMI Interface is a single Cat.5e cable, which is the heart of the extension system. This cable provides power for the camera and EZIM, bidirectional communication for RS-232 as well as Ethernet and affords extension of up to 100 meters (328 feet).

“The OneLINK HDMI system provides system integrators with an easy to install, flexible and elegant, single cable camera extension solution for a wide variety of video applications,” said Ed Ellett, President and CEO of Vaddio. “It’s the perfect example of ‘The Art of Easy’.”
